On 19th February, the students of Grade 3-A conducted a thought-provoking assembly on the theme ” Detachment is the Beginning of Mastery.”
The assembly aimed to highlight the importance of self-control, focus, and inner strength in achieving true mastery in life.
The program began with a heartfelt prayer, setting a reflective tone for the morning. This was followed by Rabindra’s song ” Ekla cholo re ” emphasizing that true mastery comes when we learn to detach ourselves from distractions, fears, and unnecessary dependencies.
A short story was presented by the students, beautifully depicting how detachment from negative emotions like anger, greed, and fear can lead to a more balanced and successful life. The story showcased a young student learning to focus on his goals by letting go of unnecessary worries and distractions.
The assembly concluded with a motivational speech by the Class Teacher, Mrs. Akansha Mishra, reinforcing the idea that detachment does not mean indifference but rather developing a strong sense of discipline and focus. The students were encouraged to apply this principle in their daily lives, especially in academics, sports, and personal growth.
